Rehire is an blue collar job portal which acts as a bridge that connects job seekers who is actively searching for an employment opportunity / job, those who are looking for a new job and recruiters who is actively looking for a qualified candidate for their job openings.
About Rehire
Many times, these middlemen or agencies doesn't allow to create a direct connection or direct relationship between an employers and a job seekers.
Problem Statement

Challenges
Empathizing with our end-users allows us to understand the people we’re designing for, learn about them, and meet their physical and emotional needs. So I went for Unstructured/deep interviews to understand the common challenges faced by our end users and sorted it down.
As per ET report, India has nearly 170 million people employed in blue-collar jobs - including drivers, logistics, delivery and other contractual staff.
While there are plenty of job boards and forums speeding up hiring processes .These boards often require jobseekers to upload resumes in Word or PDF format, which many blue-collar workers are unable to do so as many not aware of preparing a professional resumes. Thus blue-collar workers are still heavily reliant on agencies to find potential employers and get hired.
Challenges faced by job seekers :
Job search and hiring process
While some blue-collar workers are underemployed, some who have inflexible schedules and are only able to work part-time may struggle to find appropriate jobs. Fixed working hours are an issue for workers who have other commitments.
Flexibility
Many blue-collar workers may only secure part-time employment when they are available for full-time work and are left idle the rest of the time.
Underemployment
When we look in to hiring portals like naukri.com and other portals, we do not find blue collar workers in that.

There is lack of consultants who actually provide skilled blue collar workers.

Another main challenge is that there is lack of skilled workers as per requirement. Many people are there who are looking for the job but they are not trained or lack required skill set to perform the job.
